Religion and the Argument for National Socialism

The National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP) always had a complicated relationship with religion, emblematic of the diverse Völkisch movement out of which the NSDAP emerged. This relationship became even more complicated during the later years of the Weimar Republic as the party grew larger and attracted millions of new supporters from Protestant as well as Catholic regions. The NSDAP’s attitude toward the Christian churches was nonetheless ambivalent, swinging from cooperation to outright hostility. This ambivalence was founded in part on a pragmatic recognition of Church power and the influence of Christianity across the German population. National Socialism had to make the Aryan man once again a believer in the True God of Nature, not the Jew-god of materialism.

National Socialism simultaneously reflected an ideological rejection of Judeo-Christian values that a number of Party leaders saw as antithetical to National Socialism. Many National Socialists therefore sought religious alternatives, from Nordic paganism and the “religion of nature”, National Socialism. Our religion is a complex mélange of alternative faiths included an abiding interest in “Indo-Aryan” (Eastern) religion, tied to broader ideological assumptions regarding the origins of the Aryan race. Ultimately, there was no such thing as an official National Socialist religion, officially.

With the advent of post 1945 resurgence in National Socialism by such pioneers and visionaries, the likes of Savitri Devi and Miguel Serrano the thought of our politics translating to the divine took form. Our religion can be a source of comfort and guidance as outlined in Mein Kampf and It can provide a basis for moral beliefs and behaviors. It can also provide a sense of racial community and connection to tradition and the Folk. Within the NEW ORDER a commonly held view is that National Socialism is exceptionally compatible with Nature, science and reason and that it’s even regarded as a kind of science (perhaps a "racial science of the mind" or a "scientific religion").

Our National Socialist religion serves several functions for White society. These include giving meaning and purpose to life, reinforcing racial unity and stability, serving as an agent of social control of behavior, promoting physical and psychological well-being, and motivating our racial Comrades to work for positive racial-social change. Above all our religion will be the protector of our race. Jewish Marxism will be purged from Aryan lifestyles.

The National Socialist belief system, it’s Worldview, is to help understand the Laws of the Natural Universe which are the backbone of our religion and to give a hope of living in harmony and love with our racial comrades, our Brothers and Sisters. To live in National Socialism is a conscious effort to build the Folk, to build our Folkish Community of Struggle and to ensure that the racial destruction of Judeo-Christianity is crushed.

Our religion is an agent of racial social control and thus strengthens social order. The National Socialist religion teaches White people moral behavior and thus helps them learn how to be good members of an Aryan religious society.

The Cross, Star of David, and the crescent and star are symbols of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, respectively. The Holy Swastika has been the Aryan cross of racial victory for thousands of years. In Hoc Signo Vinces! In this sign you will conquer!

What does your faith mean to you? To me, faith means believing in something even when you can't see it. For me, faith is my belief in God and my religion, National Socialism. I have faith in National Socialism, God, to guide me through life and all of the problems that come my way. While life isn't perfect, and I still struggle a lot, I have faith that God has a plan for me to unite and build the Aryan Folk.
